This special band has wonderful metalwork detail visible from the side view. Additionally, the prong set diamonds are mock-channel set, which means that a protective and decorative wall, is protecting the diamonds on each side of the band. It looks like there used to be milgrain detail on this wall, but time has worn it down. 

This detailed ring would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
